JRA’s in-house staff can provide all of the services required to develop an experiential project, from initial planning though opening day. That being said, flexibility is the hallmark of all that we do. Simply put, the way in which we work and the level of our involvement all depends on what each client wants and what each project needs. While we are perhaps best known for creativity, we are equally proud of our collaborative and flexible work process.
During the exhibit/attraction development phase, JRA's creative staff works with the client team to research the project's subject matter, create initial story lines, define an underlying design language and develop a wide variety of concepts that will serve as the basis for the project's overall visitor experience.
During the exhibit/attraction planning and design phase, approved concepts are developed in greater detail. Specific areas of focus include defining the spatial relationships of areas and developing the style, form and function of the various components that comprise the overall visitor experience.
JRA’s team of writers provides a wide variety of services including concept and story line development, creative briefs, scripting, text writing and project documentation.
In our role as executive producers, JRA creates the initial concepts for all of the media experiences found within our projects. We then identify, select and collaborate with a variety of specialty media producers to further develop the story line, production techniques and theatrical design of each media experience. Finally, JRA’s production team manages a myriad of other sub-consultants, ranging from systems integrators, fabricators, special effects consultants, lighting designers and audio specialists to turn these exciting concepts into successful realities.
JRA views graphic design as an integral part of each project’s overall identity, message and visitor experience. Our creative team provides a wide range of graphic design services, including design and development of interior graphic panels, identity, theming, wayfinding and environmental signage
Art direction services assure that the creative design intent of the earlier design phases is followed and maintained during fabrication, construction and installation. This could include review of fabrication drawings, site visits, and consultation with vendors to assure the quality control of all aspects of the guest’s experience.
Project managers are responsible to the client for the entire project team as well as for the planning, development and management of the project program. Project management concentrates on the overall planning of resources, scope of work, project organization, scheduling, contract administration and the day-to-day coordination of the project.
