Project Description:

Over 460,000 scholar-athletes dribble, kick, parry, and dive in American college sports each year. The NCAA Hall of Champions sports museum honors these champion students with 30,000 square feet of exhibits related to the association's history and 24 recognized sports.

JRA teamed with RATIO Architects to renovate the Hall after a devastating electrical fire. The reinvigorated museum features a 4,000-square-foot "Play" gallery filled with a variety of "body-on" interactive sports exhibits. Visitors can witness a tennis serve, lift a rowing skull, or take a shot from the free-throw line. The Arena gallery includes a variety of graphics, memorabilia, and video. A high-definition theater allows guests to see, hear, and feel the excitement of NCAA competition. And of course, a Hall of Honor features past recipients of the Association's highest honors and awards. From tennis to football to lacrosse, the NCAA Hall of Champions offers experiences for every college sports fan.
