Project Description:
The SABIC LIFE gallery delivers a clear and timely message: life on Earth with all its beautiful diversity is not only worthy of protection, our very existence depends on its protection. Guests entering the 4,300-square-foot (400-square-meter) exhibit embark upon a journey of discovery that will inspire, amaze and encourage them to look at the choices they make in their daily lives. Guests will come to understand that science and technology offer ways to live well, while ensuring that we reduce negative impacts on our environment. In short, chemistry matters.
Through fun and enjoyable activities that appeal to various learning styles and interests, guests come to learn key life sciences principles and appreciate how these principles are relevant to their daily lives. Guests are challenged in ways that support their curiosity and encourage repeat visits to the exhibit. JRA’s graphics, media, interactives, games, and diaromas richly illustrated the gallery’s key messages, which centered around defining the building blocks of life, exploring the importance of science and technology as tools for sustainability, and conveying humans’ role in protecting the planet.
