Project Description:
JRA is honored to have worked with The Field Museum on their display of "Sue," the largest and most complete Tyrannosaurus rex fossil ever found. JRA worked hand-in-hand with the museum's in-house staff on a permanent exhibit and two traveling exhibits.
The centerpiece of the permanent exhibit is the actual Sue fossil, while the traveling exhibits feature casts of the 42-foot-long creature. These displays are surrounded by reader rails which combine exciting graphics and simple, educational interactives. A variety of modular exhibit components, located adjacent to the main display, further educates visitors on a variety of topics including the discovery and preparation of the Sue fossil, physical attributes of the T.rex and general paleontology.
