Project Description:

The Wyoming Territorial Park was created to accurately depict the 19th century American West, with particular emphasis on the High Plains. Its centerpiece, Wyoming Territorial Prison, was fully restored and operates as a museum. JRA’s project team designed the museum interior in addition to researching, collecting and displaying its artifacts.

An End-of-Tracks Town of the late 1860s was re-created as part of the living history museum. Five re-created buildings serve as a focal point. One of the featured buildings is an authentic reproduction of a period newspaper office as it existed in the late 1860s in Territorial Wyoming. The antique printing press is used to manufacture souvenir “Wanted” posters.
